i met hbk on July 10 2004, at an auto show at Dodd Stadium. I have waited all my life to meet him. Anyway, I was 5th in line, it was great. We were there all morning. He was supposed to come at 2 o'clock, but he showed up early. At 1:45, they started playing his music and drove in a blue convertible. He was wearing tan shorts, a blue t-shirt, and he had like 1 piece of athletic tape around his neck.(the whole time he was making fun of his "injury") When, i got up to the table, he took my pic and signed it, then they told me to 'go kneel next to Shawn' ...... YES!
He turned aroung and he looked really suprised cause i kind of just appeared next to him. He said "hey, how'r you".........like 10 seconds later i managed "good". he leaned over real close to me and they took the pic and he signed that, too. Then for the next 2 hours, we kind of hung out on the side of him and kept yelling dumb stuff to him. Which amused him because he kept looking at us and laughing with us. At one point he grabs his neck and goes "oh, this thing is killing me. stupid larynx...or um...uhh...well whatever it is, it hurts!!" He was hilarious and soo sweet (and hott!!)
