Deanna's HBK Experiences

I finally went to go see the Heartbreak Kid in person, up close, for the first time. It was November of 2000 at Rock-N-Willy's at the Nanuet Mall. I was totally hyped. The anticipation was killing me. The day finally arrived. It wasn't until 6 p.m. Luckily, the line wasn't to long when I arrived, so my spot was quite close. 6 came, and the music hit. Anticipation turned to tears of excitement. The man was hotter in person. My turn came. His arm was around my waist, he kissed me on my cheek, and gave me a hug, mind you, I was hysterical at the time so he must have thought I was crazed. But he was soooo sweet, and may I add, very soft. LOL. I also got my photo with him kissing me.....quite memorable. Alas, my first experience was over.

My second was the following week at another mall. This time, my composure was down. I finally got to speak words to him. He remembered me from the following week, which was cool. I got my second photo with my arm around his shoulders. Very cool!

My third was the next year, 2001 around Christmas time at the Wrestling restaurant in Time Square for Smackdown. I was waiting in line with my friend to be seated when all of a sudden, I turn around and there he is walking down the stairs right next to me in his blue jeans, blue T-shirt, beige vest and his oh-so-adorable cowboy hat. We were seated. Before the show, HBK came out on stage and addressed us all. CUTIE!!!!

Then, about an hour into the show, he came out again for a question-and-answer session with us. That just gave me more time to look at the hunk of a man standing before me. After that, the autograph session began. And I got my third autograph, and photo of him.

My fourth time was last year on Central Ave. in Yonkers at a little wrestling store called Wrestling Central. It was a rainy day, not a good hair day. But I made the best of it. Line went fast, and my turn was coming. I got to snap my pics before stepping up. My turn came. I said, "This is my fourth time seeing you." And he said, " I hope I'm not starting to bore you?" My exact words were, " NEVER!" He laughed.....he was sooooo adorable.

And those are my experiences with HBK. I apologize if it's a little long, so forgive me.

Deanna
