Hiya, I'm Tammy and I finally got to meet The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels. He was at the Baltimore Convention Center for Stacker 2 on May 10, 2003. It's been my dream since I was 11 years old, and I'm 18 now.
At first, they cut the line off....literally right in front of me, my sister Erin, and my friends Ashley and Erica. I started crying. But this other guard further back was like, "No, it's cut down here!". There was a debate about it, and needless to say, the other guard won and I ended up meeting HBK (I wanna hug that guard!) afterall!
I STILL can't believe it happened...it's like a dream. When we were in line near the front, my stomach cramped up, my legs got weak, and I got dizzy. I thought I was gonna either hurl or pass out. Once I got up there, I was actually a lot calmer than I thought I'd be- but I was shaking. I was like "I'm gonna pass out" and HBK was like "No, please don't do that!" (he was all nice and shit), and I go, "I've been waiting for this day since I was 11"! and he goes, "My goodness!". Erin goes, "Can I get a picture of you two?" and he's like "Certainly!". Then he smiled at me and I left. It's funny, my Dad made the picture into our desktop picture. He was such a sweetie and I'm glad, too! Maybe I can meet him again...and maybe I won't be so nervous if that ever happens again. He truely is the man! :) :) :) :)
