There's so much time in the ring he's spent,
This man who's known as "The Main Event".
He's beaten many men who were strong and rough,
But he's persevered because he's proud and tough.
He can break our hearts and he can make us cry,
He can make us gasp and he can make us sigh.
We've seen him hurt, and we've seen him bleed,
We've seen him give, and we've seen him need.
This man who has stolen our hearts away,
And still holds them tightly to this day.
And if he was to look out in the crowd,
We would all be there, so true, so proud.
That sweet chin music we all love to hear,
Still rings as strong through all these years.
And even though others have come and went,
He STILL stands tall as "THE Main Event".
