When "Pacific Blue" returns for its fifth season, it's guaranteed to be a showstoppin' affair!

Commissioner Shawn Michaels will be appearing in the first two episodes of the new season on USA Network, the first of which airs this Sunday at 9 p.m./8 p.m. CT (two hours after HEAT). The episode will rerun the proceeding Saturday, just after LiveWire, at 11 a.m/10 a.m. CT.

Part 2 debuts and reruns at the same times the following week.

According to the "Pac Blue" Web site, Michaels will be playing the leader of a drug-smuggling operation based in Hawaii. Two "Pac Blue" characters, Bobby Cruz (played by Mario Lopez, formerly Slater on "Saved by the Bell") and Russ Granger (Jeff Stearns), are in Hawaii training the Honolulu bike patrol. They apparently team with four young, hip undercover cops (possibly including Zack and Screech) to put the bad guys behind bars in the two-part episode.

With the appearance of Michaels, who was once featured on "Baywatch," and the fact that these episodes will be broadcast on the same night and network as Sunday Night HEAT, USA Network will no doubt receive a boost in ratings.

When longtime Michaels protégé Triple H guest starred on the series several months ago, it attained its highest rating to date. USA Network has grown accustomed to the combination of Federation Superstars and high ratings. Of course, RAW IS WAR and HEAT represent the two highest rated programs on the No. 1 cable network. But other USA programs have received a boost with the help of The Rock on "The Net"; Val Venis on "The Net" and "Happy Hour"; and the Undertaker (when he hosted "Sci-Fi Heat").

No doubt, it's a relationship USA will look to continue. If and when any other Federation Superstars are set to appear on USA, or any other network, get the details here at WWF.com.
