Razor and Shawn both make their entrances down to the ring. Shawn is going into this match as the Intercontinental Champ. The two wrestle around and Razor ducks an early Sweet Chin Music. They grapple some more with HBK squirming out of a Razor's Edge. Razor tosses Shawn to the corner and Shawn gets flipped all the way to the outside. As Shawn was down, the ladder finally came in as Razor tried to get it but Shawn tackled him in the aisle. Shawn beats him back to the ring and Shawn tries suplexing him back in. Razor counters and suplexs Shawn onto the floor with Shawns leg colliding with the steel security rail. Razor throws Shawn in and he goes for the Razors Edge but Shawn gets out again and Razor ducks another Sweet Chin Music. The two collide with each other with a double clothesline. They get and Razor sets Shawn up on the top rope.before hitting a fallaway slam. Shawns down and hurt again, so Razor gets the ladder. Shawn tries to baseball slide it back into Razors chest but Razor was able to get away before punching Shawn in the face. Razor tried climbing the ladder but Shawn drops the ladder. Shawn tries now but Razor pulls down his tights before throwing the ladder. Shawns knee is stuck in the rungs as it falls and lands on his knee.Razor scoop slams him onto the ladder knee first. He uses the ladder to smash Shawns knees multiple times with it. Razor sets up the ladder against the turnbuckle and goes for a Figure 4. Shawn kicks out of it and Razor goes hard into the ladder. He holds his ribs in pain. The Bad Guy comes back with a kneedrop on Shawn. Razor proceeds beating Shawns knee. Finally, Razor tries to go for the gold but Shawn climbed the top rope and double ax handled him off.Razor again climbs up the ladder but Shawn climbs and meets him with a back suplex. Shawn places it in the corner and whips Razor into it. He whips him into the other corner before hitting a flying forearm. Shawn now in control climbs the ladder and waits for Razor to stand up before hitting a moonsault. He then attempts a splash off the top onto a fallen Ramon but Razor got away. Both men are hurt and struggle to their feet. They climb up each side of the ladder where they exchange blows. The ladder tips over and they both land split legged onto the ropes. Razor's outside and Shawn landed inside. Shawn grabs the ladder and dives through the ropes but Razor escaped and Shawn hits the ground with the ladder. Razor takes this time to go under the ring and pull out his own ladder. Shawn struggles to get himself back in and starts climbing. Razor meets him there. He turns around,grabs his arms and Razor Edges Shawn off it. Razor sets up the 2nd ladder and starts going up. Shawn climbs the other one and Sweet Chin Musics him off the top. Razor crashes back down to the ring. Shawn tries to grab the IC belt but the ladder can't hold and it falls and Shawn crashes to the ground. Razor gets up and tries another Razors Edge but Shawn is able to back body drop him all the way to the floor. He goes up top again with a chance to retain his belt and grabs at it but he can't untighten it and he falls back down. Shawn stands up again, fuming he can't get the Title. He scales the ladder before finally grabbing his Title at 25 minutes. After Razor gets up, he took the Title so he could hand it to the victor. He gave him a handshake and hug after such a hard fought and legendary performance.
